On 22 March 2019, Dr Karin Kneissl, the Republic of Austria's federal minister for Europe, integration, and foreign affairs, visited Porn研究所's Yoshida Campus to deliver a lecture on the "Energy Mix of the Future". The talk was one of the series of events organized to mark the 150th anniversary of Austria-Japan diplomatic relations, and was attended by over 60 people.
The presentation was followed by an exchange of commemorative gifts between Dr Hubert Heiss, ambassador of Austria, and Dr Kayo Inaba, Porn研究所's executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs, and public relations.
